Description

"Nai yaryuvalyë estë sambassë mandosto, melmenya. Namárië."
Translation: May you find peace in death, my love. Farewell.

Short. And. Sweet. If I try figuring out any more Elvish, brain matter will start oozing out my ears. x_x

I was listening to the Gladiator soundtrack, particularly "Earth", while drawing this page. ;) I did get a little weepy. :XD: It's the music! Tug, tug, tugging at those heartstrings. *sniffle*

EDIT: Great, I just found a Quenya phrasebook online that had what I wanted to say. I could've just copied and pasted. -_- Well, at least i know the sentence is right.

(This is a story of my PC, Nara, the Dalish elf. Her adventures may or may not exactly follow the game's timeline and outcomes.)

Still not over Tamlen in 2k23. Love that she buried her necklace along with Tamlen's, as if to leave that piece of her heart forever with him before moving on to meet the life that's left ahead. Heart-wrenching but a beautiful gesture toward giving their story, and herself, some much needed closure. Do you write or draw comics professionally in any capacity? I'd love to read more of your work.
