Zev speaks Antivan (which is actually Italian)! Translation: "Sh*t. I'm too old for this."
SoRRyyy for the delay. Ack, I'm drawing more details in the pages since I started this comic.
PLEASE NOTE! I read somewhere that David Gaider said Antiva is supposed to be a city inspired by Italy. In my mind, Zevran seems like the type to go off in his native tongue ever so often, SO, let's pretend Italian is Antivan. And I don't speak Italian, I took one class in college years ago and have forgotten pretty much all of what I've learnt. Please correct me if I've butchered or used the wrong expression for the sentence. Thankies!

(This is a story of my PC, Nara, the Dalish elf. Her adventures may or may not exactly follow the game's timeline and outcomes.)
Disclaimer: Dragon Age: Origins and its characters belong to Bioware Corp. I'm just an obsessed fan creating comics to show my love for this game. This is purely just for fun.
i noticed that in Orgins when i had Zev in the party, and i switched to him for something, and he said 'Si, Amore?' which is Italian for 'Yes, Love?' i thought that was strange that they had an Antivan speaking Italian, but now after reading what you said, it does sort of make sense
The whole Antivan thing really confuses me, because Zevran speaks with a Spanish accent, so I always assumed they spoke Spanish there, yet it's based off of Italy. Just... Why David Gaider. Why? xD
I always thought Zevi's favorite swearword was "Brasca". Dunno what it means, I only speak a little Spanish, but thought I would say it. Love the last panel.
LOVE the work!
xD
GOSH I didn't know!
