I've been trying to make the right chainmail brush and I think I've finally got it! I had to test it out! :dummy: So I did a reference image for Gen's armour.

I really should do reference images for the rest of the cast in the fan comic, but OMG, I'm so lazy. :XD: the funny thing is, I have a really hard time drawing armour from DAO, even with a reference image right infront of me. I always make it too clunky.That's the reason why my fan comic hardly features the actual armour from the game. :XD: Anyways... I'm very happy with the brush. :icondummylaplz: Now I just have to figure out how to texture the chainmail properly.

This is better than the armor from the game. A LOT better.
The breastplate actually ends at the natural waist, as it should. There's a fauld to protect the lower part of the abdomen with horizontal segments for articulation instead of vertical pieces that would hamper movement. The pauldrons aren't ridiculously massive. And it does not have the potentially-lethal "boob plate" syndrome. This is great.
