Goodbye

This is a practice piece. I'm trying to teach myself how to paint digitally from scratch. Ugh, it's so frustrating. I constantly have this urge to stick my hands into the monitor and move stuff around. I'm really not happy with the product, but I did learn a lot while creating it. Figured I'd post this in hopes it will make me work harder.

I'm so amazed and inspired by the beautiful paintings people have been able to create using their tablets!

About the subject matter: I decided to paint a scene inspired by one of my favorite cartoons, The Last Unicorn. I always thought Prince Lir had a shitty deal in the end and I didn't think he and Amalthea parted properly.
