OC inspiration meme: Genby *rooster82

Couldn't draw today, but I had time for a meme! Hehe. For those of you who want a better handle on Gen's character and what she sounds like in my head.

There's also a little backstory of why it's Gen and not Gwen for short, but you'll have to wait until I get to drawing those pages. Sigh, I wish I could draw faster.

So, Gen is inspired by Emma Thompson, a lot of Captain Amelia ("And Doctor, again, with the greatest possible respect - zip your howling screamer."

) and a sprinkling of Nanny McPhee. They're all basically just one person.

I love Emma Thompson. But, I hope Gen will become her own individual as the story progresses.

You know, in White's 'Once and Future King' Arthur called his wife Jenni, because Genevieve was the french version of Guinevere. So I actually just thought it was something similar.

I didn't even come to wonder about Gen for short - I guess my brain does a few too many flips by default. But in my head it's already gone through Guinevere->Jennifer->Jenny->Jen~=Gen XD
